Class Descriptions

OnRamp Classes:

All new members to Hawkestone CrossFit will participate in a 6 -Class introduction to prepare them for participating in regular CrossFit WODs.  The On Ramp program helps new members understand the fundamental movements and focuses on getting stronger in the Squat, Press, Dead-lift,  Bench Press and much more!  This will allow new members to get stronger so they can perform better as they continue to work out at Hawkestone CrossFit. There is a limit of 7 people per class, therefore every member must reserve their spot on our on-line calendar. We have a strict 12hr cancellation policy where you will be charged for a full class if you fail to cancel 12hrs prior to, or if you do not show up for the class. To receive access for our on-line calendar you must first activate your membership.

CrossFit Classes:

This class is for people who have been Crossfitting for a couple of months and have a basic understanding of the 9 CrossFit movements. Each class will incorporate these moves and introduce more complex moves. These workouts will be more intense then the On Ramp and Crossfit Lite classes.

CrossFit Lite Classes:

CrossFit Lite is a CrossFit Class that focuses on mechanics of functional movements and metabolic conditioning and its fat burning effects. This conditioning-based class involves lots of running, rowing, airdyne, plyometrics, rings and kettlebells. This class is a modified version of the regular CrossFit class. No experience or skill level is required in CF Lite class, just the desire to work hard. This class is just like a CrossFit class, all movements can be scaled. This means we can simplify movements, decrease the load or intensity if needed. ALL LEVELS ARE WELCOME TO CF LITE!

This class is perfect for:

  • those looking to build a fitness foundation before transitioning to a full CrossFit class.
  • those looking to incorporate weight training, high intensity interval training and metabolic conditioning work to their regular routine.
  • those who like CrossFit, but want a less technical or skill based workout.
  • those who enjoy a bootcamp-style workout
  • those who want to develop functional movements to help enhance your ability to perform day-to-day tasks

The CF Lite Membership:

This membership ONLY gives you access to CF Lite class, not to regular CrossFit classes. It also gives you access to Open Gym Hours.

If you have a regular monthly CrossFit membership you have access to CrossFit classes, CF Lite and Open Gym Hours.

CrossFit Kids Classes:

CrossFit Kids is a group class that combines being active and having fun! All movements involve exercises that are essential to children’s play like pulling, pushing, and running, throwing, climbing, lifting and jumping. In addition, kids will build team building skills, confidence, focus, self-discipline, leadership and sportsmanship.
